I have never been a dog person. I never had one as a pet growing up.
[My parents are kind of backwards: my mom loves dogs and my dad loves cats.]
But I have always thought that puppies were cute. Not the huge, grown up things, but the small, soft and tender, light barking, puppies are adorable to me!
So I thought this picture was hilarious and cute. :)

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
![]()
We have been waiting for this since the book came out...We have been waiting for this since it was supposed to be released on November 21st...We are through with waiting!
HARRY POTTER 6 IS FINALLY HERE!
I am going at midnight and I am SO EXCITED!
Truly, I think this book might be the best one out of the series. [Even though, yes, the 7th one was amazing.]
My mom read this book and complained that it is all about snogging. :P I had a laugh about that.
I can't wait because I wonder how they will develop the relationship between Harry and Dumbledore. The Dumbledore in the first two movies was amazing--the PERFECT Dumbledore, but I'm not sure about the new one. (I think a lot of controversy rises over it because he's Gandolf in Lord of the Rings, another movie I am a fan of.)
He just seems....too hard. Not nice enough. Not friendly enough. But I hope it changes!
OH WELL if it doesn't.
....SO EXCITED!

Some People Think It's Gross....I think it's magical

When I was a kid, I never covered up my eyes or looked away when people kissed.
It wasn't gross to me.
I think it's a work of art.
I think kissing is a part of life that some people need to embrace, instead of being stone-hearted.
Kissing is a sign of love, so I don't think kisses should be given away like people give out hugs, but I think that if a moment is worthy of a kiss, then kiss.
Kiss. Keep It Simple Stupid.

Tales of a Dangerous Black Widow
Eww. It was so gross. I was in my back yard, cleaning off a play roller coaster, so I could take it to a BBQ tonight.
And, when I flipped the piece of plastic over, out came this HUGE HUGE HUGE Black WIDOW! So I tried to drown it. I sprayed it and I sprayed it--but it wouldn't DIE! It just kept moving in the water. It was SO gross.
So then I ran in my house (terrified) and grabbed a jar. [Previously in my life my brother and I have caught a black widow in a jar and suffocated it.] So I tried to catch it in the jar, but I just couldn't get it! I could NOT get it to go in the jar. (It was still, curled in a ball. It *looked* dead.)
But then it climbed up on the side of the jar and went towards my hand. I dropped it and screamed. It started climbing around in the grass. So I took the jar in my hand, brought it down and smashed that baby! I smashed it over and over and over again!
Then I soaked it thoroughly with the hose and smashed it some more.
It disappeared and I don't know if it's dead, and I have no idea where it went.
Ewww. I am going to die. It is going to eat me in my sleep and I am going to die.

Freakin Awesome.

Although I am not a fan of the color pink, I love this eye. I think it is wild, spunky, bright, and fantastic!

Happy 4th of July!

Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
On the shore, dimly seen through the mists of the deep,
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In full glory reflected now shines in the stream:
'Tis the star-spangled banner! Oh long may it wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion,
A home and a country should leave us no more!
Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps' pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
