The Host

Have you read "The Host" by Stephenie Meyer? I love that book. Probably more than the Twilight Series.
I wanted to post this eye, because I think the whole silver thing is awesome. It reminds me of The Host. (For those of you who haven't read 'the host' there is silver in the eye if you have an alien in your head. See below.)
In summary, The Host is about a bunch of aliens invading planet Earth. They put a snail in your brain that controls you and uses your body as a host. The main character is overtaken by a "soul" and it's about how Melanie (the human) takes over and gets what she wants. I loved it. A really good sci-fi/romance.
Anyway. I wish I could do my makeup that perfect!!! hahaha. :)

Balloons

Everyone loves balloons. Whether you like to pop them, suck the helium, or just tie one to your wrist.
When I was a kid, we had this store close to my house and I LOVED it when my mom would buy balloons.
Balloons are just cute. You can draw faces on them and keep them for a long time.
At one of my family gatherings, we had a TON of helium balloons. I remember sucking that air in and talking funny, and I felt lightheaded.
It was so much fun!!!
Gotta love balloons.

Love Story

I really hate country. And hypocritically enough, I really hated this song for a long time. I still don't like to listen to it, but I think that this instrumental is beautiful. I love this!

The Road Ahead of Us

I've never exactly been much of an optimistic person, but I love this picture. Look at the road, how it trails through the darkness. We're all going to meet a point in our lives where we're in darkness, but we can't stop traveling. Notice the "light at the end of the tunnel" or in other words, the lamp not too far ahead.
You have so much more road to cover, you've got a full tank of gas, and a brand new car. You can do it. You can drive on through that darkness.
Because no matter how much darkness of night you go through, no matter HOW DARK IT IS, you will reach at least *one* point of light. One star among a sky of black. You will find one moment of happiness.
There's so much road ahead of you, so please, explore it.

The Female Symbol

Having recently finished reading "The DaVinci Code" I have noticed the signs for male and female a lot more. So when I saw this picture, I thought instantly of Dan Brown.
This sunset is beautiful, I love the purple and orange, but I want to draw attention to the mountains. Look at the space between them. It forms a V. Which is the ancient symbol for Female.
Sadly, I couldn't find the Male symbol in the picture as well. But it's a good picture anyway. ;)

Moon/Eye

What do you see? When I look at this overall picture, I see a dark eye. Is that what you see? Now look closer. You see the moon? The full moon? Is that what you saw the first time?
In a way, it kind of reminds me of the whole "is the glass half empty or full" thing.
But I guess an eye or a moon, neither of them are really bad in any way.
So I really like this picture. It kind of shows what point I'm at in my life right now. It's pretty dark, but there is one single, whole beam of light in there somewhere.

Adam Lambert

Holy hotness!!!!!!!!! I haven't really been keeping up with this season of "American Idol" but a few of my friends have. My closest friend told me I would die if I saw Adam Lambert (I'm a sucker for the emo/goth guys) and I about died when I saw his picture! Gah!
Anyway, I also heard that he's a great singer, but that I'll have to find out and then I will inform you. ;)
